SONG REVIEW AND CRITIQUE: BROOKE JEAN “PULSATING” By @Brooke_jean

SONG REVIEW AND CRITIQUE
BROOKE JEAN “PULSATING”
REVIEW BY PHOENIXSTAR9

Creativity – This is definitely a lot different than what I’m used to hearing, consdering this is more of a poem than a song, but then again what

is a song but a poem..

Beat-  that beat is a little off putting sound wise, but it grows on you a little

Originality- Truly original, the poem / song style is a little unorthodox.

Lyrics : wennt deep with the wordplay

Flow- poetic… spoken word feel..

Does the song engage the listener and/or have emotional
impact?

The flow actually makes you follow the words..

Is the song memorable?
The hook gets in your head just a little. I Remember bits and pieces because of the flow.

It was a little hard to review as a song, because ultimately it still came across as a spoken word piece in my mind.  From that stand point I

liked it I felt it was a dope peice.  From a song standpoint it just didn’t do it for me, didn’t really come out as a song to me.
